Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Fatih Demir (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the GudMornin app (“the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

During onboarding and use of the App, you may provide:

• Routine preferences — wake-up time, morning goals, desired routine feeling (calm, focused, energized, etc.), commitment level (gentle, balanced, disciplined, extreme), available morning time.
• Sleep & energy context — bedtime, sleep quality, and daily energy level entered at the start of each session.
• Reflection data — post-session mood tags (calm, productive, focused, etc.) and optional free-text notes.
• Account information — if you sign in via Firebase Authentication, your email address or social login identifier.

2.2 Information Generated Through App Use

• Routine completion history — timestamps, session duration, completed steps, morning score, and vibe tags for each completed session. Stored locally on your device in SharedPreferences (up to 90 sessions).
• Usage patterns — session start times, completion rates, and streak data derived from local completion history.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. This may collect:

• App open and session events
• Feature interaction events (e.g., routine started, session completed, paywall viewed)
• Device type, OS version, and app version
• Country/region (not precise location)
• User properties set during onboarding (goal type, commitment level)

Firebase Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information by default. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes. This collects:

• Crash logs and stack traces
• Device model and OS version
• App version at the time of crash
• A random installation-specific identifier

Crash reports do not include routine content, personal notes, or precise location. Data is processed by Google.

Firebase Performance Monitoring (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Performance to monitor app performance (e.g., screen load times, network latency). This does not collect personal content.

2.4 Subscription & Purchase Information

Subscription status is managed by Adapty. When you purchase or restore a subscription, Adapty processes:

• Your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt
• Subscription status and entitlements

We do not receive or store your payment card details. Adapty's privacy policy is available at adapty.io/privacy.

2.5 Notifications

If you grant notification permission, we store your preferred notification time locally on your device to schedule daily morning reminders via flutter_local_notifications. We do not transmit notification preferences to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third-party marketing, or any purpose other than operating and improving the App.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Local Storage

The majority of your data — routine preferences, completion history, session notes, and notification settings — is stored exclusively on your device using SharedPreferences. This data is not backed up to our servers.

• Completion history is capped at 90 entries.
• Data is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear app data from your device settings.

Cloud Storage

We do not operate our own backend servers for user data. Firebase and Adapty handle data through their own infrastructure under their respective data processing agreements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for operating the App:

All third-party providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide their services to us and not for their own commercial purposes beyond what is described in their privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at fthdmirr@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete that information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request deletion of your data. For locally stored data, this is accomplished by uninstalling the App.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Opt-out of analytics — you can limit ad tracking and analytics collection through your device's privacy settings (iOS: Settings - Privacy & Security - Apple Advertising; Android: Settings - Privacy - Ads).

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Locally stored data is protected by your device's built-in security. Firebase and Adapty maintain their own security standards as described in their respective security documentation.

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Firebase and Adapty may process data in data centers outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of data to these countries. We rely on the respective providers' data transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for compliance with applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App does not contain links to third-party websites. Third-party SDKs integrated into the App (Firebase, Adapty) operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
